Some technical advice to help you get the most out of the site…
Flash Animation
Many sections of the site contain
Flash 5 animations. It takes just a few minutes to download
the Flash program if you don't have it.
Modem
Since
the site uses multimedia technology, it is best to have at least a 56 kpbs modem
or, ideally, a high-speed line or cable modem.
Browser
The
site is best viewed with Internet
Explorer 5.0 or later versions or Netscape
4.72 or later versions, for both Macintosh and PC.
Monitor
For
best results, your monitor resolution should be set to 800 X 600, with 16 million
colours.
Printing
Since page width is set
to 800 pixels, we suggest you reduce the percentage for printing. For some pages
(map of Thematic Routes, Museum Directory records), there is a printer-ready version
(click on the icon in the upper right-hand corner of your screen).
