To discover, see and do...
The Matane art gallery is a non-profit organization founded in 1975 to exhibit current art. It presents an average of seven exhibitions by professional artists every year, each lasting six to seven weeks.
The gallery’s mission is to exhibit, promote, develop and explain art. It does not focus on any practice in particular, but rather on the diversity of approaches in visual art, and encourages new ideas.
In the summer it showcases artists from the Matane region. The gallery also has a great appreciation for other forms of art, from music to literature, performances, videos, etc., and occasionally presents shows in these fields.
