To discover, see and do...
Health and culture meet at the Muséocabinet, a unique exhibition space where patients and visitors can admire the artwork on display. The building, located at the entrance to the Parent estate, was erected in 1959-1960. Its simple lines recall the architectural style of Frank Lloyd Wright. Three generations of one family lived here at the same time for 40 years, a forerunner of today’s enthusiasm for “intergenerational” homes. The original kitchen remains unchanged, and the collection includes items, photos and films from the 1950s and 1960s. Visitors can learn about the building itself, its history and neighbourhood, and admire 20th-century works of art. Each exhibition includes subtle references to the concept of health, in its broadest sense.
