To discover, see and do...
Canada’s oldest bank was founded in 1817, and has amassed a rich heritage over the years. The Museum presents a reproduction of the first teller’s wicket and immerses visitors in a 19th-century banking environment, through a remarkable collection of objects and historic documents. You can see eloquent witnesses of the Bank’s historical heritage, including authentic banking accessories from bygone days, old photos and a collection of coins, cheques and piggybanks.
The Museum is located in the passage between the bank's main branch (a stately neo-classic structure built in 1847) and its Head Office (built in 1960)
