To discover, see and do...
The Musée du squelette is the only museum of its kind in Quebec. Here you can find out everything you ever wanted to know about skeletons! Take a guided tour and admire the remarkable collection of over 400 skeletons, parts of skeletons and skulls. Learn about osteology and how the skeleton has evolved and adapted as diets and locomotion have changed.
What do tree shoots have to do with the cervidae family, and how do elephants and manatees grow new teeth? What is the difference between a crocodile and an alligator, or a meat-eating dinosaur and a plant-eating dinosaur? Why do the biggest whales eat the smallest type of food? For the answers to these and other questions, visit the Musée du squelette, located on one of the most picturesque islands in the St. Lawrence River, less than three hours from Quebec City.
