Open year-round
From May 13th to October 11th : every day of the week, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

From October 13th to May 15th : Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Closed between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. (ticket office close at 3 p.m). On Saturday and Sunday, the museum opens only for group reservations (15 people or more).

The Mashteuiatsh Amerindian Museum is devoted to maintaining the living memory of a people who have survived despite their history and a spoken language that would not be forgotten. Through its exhibitions, the museum also displays the creations of contemporary Native and Ilnu artists. Equipped with the latest technology, the museum offers spacious exhibition galleries, a discovery room, a reference centre and a gift shop featuring authentic crafts. Montagnais guides and craftspeople help make your visit an unforgettable experience. The Mashteuiatsh Amerindian Museum presents thousands of years of living memory as well as the wealth of a constantly evolving culture.
